Highway 897 Construction Project

Please be advised of upcoming work being done on HWY 897 South of HWY 619 into the MD of Wainwright from August 5, 2025 to October 15, 2025. It is approximated that work will be done during day-time only.
Work includes highway construction, culvert installation, side slope improvements and approach removal. This will be followed by milling, spray cracking repairs, chip seal coat and asphalt concrete pavement. Be prepared to stop. Flaggers and speed reduction will be in place.
