Registered Candidates

Per the Local Authorities Election Act, candidates intending to run for the 2025 election must register their Notice of Intent to Run with the Election Office before accepting campaign contribution or incurring campaign expenses.

To register, interested candidates may complete the Notice of Intent to Run and submit it by email to election@county24.com or book an appointment to drop it off in person at the County of Vermilion River Office. 

Please note: Candidates that register their Notice of Intent to Run are not exempt from submitting their official nomination forms with required signatories and $100 fee which will be accepted beginning January 1, 2025 through to Nomination Day on September 22, 2025.
