Pay Your County Bill via Option Pay

The County accepts credit card payments using OptionPay - a third party software provider. For a small fee, OptionPay provides residents with another convenient method of payment for water bills, gas bills, taxes, development fees, county maps and more. OptionPay uses a tiered fee schedule to collect a load fee on each transaction.
Please note that OptionPay has a minimum payment amount of $8.20.
By selecting the correct payment type from the drop down menu (once you are in the OptionPay software), and following the step by step instructions below, the County can ensure proper processing of your online credit card payment.
Cancellation/Refund
Please be advised that the County of Vermilion River does not provide refunds or process cancellations for transactions made using OptionPay. Once you have consented to processing your credit card payment and remitted the associated load fee, the charge is irreversible.
Step 1: Select UTILITIES as your payment type from the drop down menu.
Step 2: Enter your account number. This can be found in 3 places on your gas bill.
If you are paying more than one account, please enter the account numbers and the corresponding amounts in the comments box.
Step 1: Select TAXES as your payment type from the drop down menu.
Step 2: Enter your Roll Number. This can be found in 2 places on your tax notice

Step 2: Enter your account number. This can be found in 2 places on your water and sewer bill.
