2016 Year End Financial Report (due Mar 31, 2017 for those facilities that received 2016 funds)

Take a peaceful drive through the bountiful farmland and countryside to the
Lindsay A. Evans Park (South of Kitscoty on 897, West on TWP 490 for 3.5 miles and it is on your left).  A tranquil setting for bird watching, picnics and even some canoeing.  Open daily 7am - 11 pm from June 1 to after the Sept long weekend.  Alcohol not allowed.  The park is named for Lindsay A. Evans (1891-1976) - a renowned local artist and nature lover dedicated to enhancing his community.  Definitely a great little gem in our County!

If you are looking for a nature spot, check out the McNabb Wildlife Sanctuary – bird watching, deer, wildlife and more!  A quiet retreat for connecting with nature. Located at SE-18-49-5-W4M (TWP 492 and RR 55; southeast of Vermilion).  Operated by the County of Vermilion River on land donated by Mr. Colin McNabb in 1992.

Check out the VISITING Page for more things to see and do!
