INFORMATION FOR VOTERS
ELIGIBLE VOTERS
To be eliglble to vote in the 2017 Municipal Election you must be:
a) at least 18 years of age;
b) a Canadian citizen, and
c) a resident in Alberta for the 6 consecutive months immediately preceding election day and the person's place of residence is located in the division on election day
(Excerpt from Local Authority Election Act, Sec. 47)
In order to vote, you must produce one piece of identification for inspection. Acceptable forms of I.D. are:
a) Government-issued I.D. which contains a photograph of the elector and their address (preferred). Passports are not accepted.
OR: b) Other document clearly stating the name and address or land location of the elector

You may vote at either polling station within your Division, but it is ideal that you do vote at the recommended polling station. Click on the link below (it will open a new browser), then enter your legal land location or rural address into the search box. The map will zoom into the selected parcel and show the polling station. The text box on the right side will include the election division and polling station location (with directions should you need).
When entering your legal land location, please include all the "-"'s, example SE-35-50-3-4
