2010 Municipal Election
On Monday, October 18, 2010 County of Vermilion River residents will be voting at the polls to elect Councillors to represent their division for the next three year term. The County is divided into seven electoral divisions; each represented by a Councillor. The Reeve, the head of Council, is selected by the Council at the Organizational meeting held each October.

Election Day:
Monday, October 18, 2010
Residents will be able to vote at any poll within their division.

The following divisions will be having elections:
Division 1
Candidates: Murray King, Don Malka
Polling Stations: McLaughlin Hall, Golden Valley Hall
Division 2
Candidates: Peter Green, Daryl Watt
Polling Stations: Paradise Valley Hall, Kitscoty Seniors' Centre
Division 5
Candidates: Glenda Elkow, Bob Nielsen, Lillian Prost, Linda Ulan
Polling Stations: Blackfoot Seniors' Centre, Streamstown Community Hall
Division 6
Candidates: Pat Cusack, Clinton Heathcote, Edward Parke
Polling Stations: Marwayne Community Hall, Tulliby Lake Agri-Plex
